If I'm not mistaken...

...Tax's ProfileTax will be turning 17 in a number of hours.  Just had to jump on real quick to wish her a very happy birthday.  :)  In other news, it appears a former co-worker friend of mine scored me a job in San Francisco at a network operations center.  Allegedly, this gig pays $16 an hour... so I'm a happy panda.  Might be starting as early as Monday.  If all goes well, I'll be driving my 'maro again before long.  I'm thinking about getting a motorcycle instead, though... seems more like my style, with the long hair 'n all.  ;)

Miss you guys.  More later.

Knowing you, you'll hurt yourself on that thing sooner or later. My uncle got hit by a RV 20 minutes after buying his motorcycle. He was badly hurt, but he's the asshole who crossed the median.

Don't you have to go through a lot of red tape to get a license for those? Here, you do. Better start cracking the books now, friend.

(Insert suggestive teacher comment here.)

I don't think so...
As far as I know, it's not as bad as you think... well not here, at least.  As I already have a class C (basic Car) license, getting a class M (you guessed it, M is for Motorcycle) license apparently requires just a little more training.  I'm told the CHP (California Highway Patrol) teaches motorcycle classes themselves, so they must be comprehensive.  Once I've completed that course, I believe I then have an M class license.  Thanks for the vote of confidence on me getting hurt, by the way... ;)
