I'm proud to say that I survived this one crazy song called So Deep which is one of the most difficult songs to pass in any DDR game. Just for the hell of it, my good friend Justin and I decided to try it as the last song in one of our sets. By doubling the speed of the arrows so I could actually see how to do the steps, I was actually able to pass it! Strangely, Justin (who's a lot better than me) didn't pass it though. However, he did something few people have done as of yet... he passed a song called MAX300</b> which is just insane. The first two times I played the song, both of us ran completely out of breath before even finishing the entire thing... which we never do on any other song. The third time, we both managed to dance the entire time... and somehow, he stepped quickly enough to just barely pass it! (I didn't get anywhere near passing it, personally.) He's got to be in the top 10 in northern California since he can do that, I swear... :)
In other news, it looks like I'll be doing some Web sites freelance-style to rustle up a little cash, and ideally I'm also hoping to attend ReccaCon in early June. The problem is, the con happens to fall right on my dad's birthday (June 9th!) and I'm not sure I'm going to go as a result. Such crappy timing... ah well, I'll work it out. What else... got my Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (wow, that's a lame title!) tickets almost a week ago, and am going at 7:15 P.M. tomorrow. I'm also going to watch the Giants play ball in Pacbell Park in a couple hours. Other than that, I'm just toying with ideas to do something with my life that I'll enjoy. I've got a few plans in mind, but they're very long term as of yet... and I'm not sure when I'm going to have the resources available to me to put my plans into action.
In other news, I actually popped on ICQ for the first time in over a year, I believe. I've also been trying to visit my friends on AOL Instant Messenger a bit more often, but it's tough for me to find the time to chat these days. I'm not sure if you can continue to expect to see me chatting often, but I'll do what I can to say hi when I've the time. Thanks to those of you who continue to keep in touch with me by e-mail and over the phone. Many of you are constantly in my thoughts (like nearly every day)... and you surely know who you are by now. Kathleen, Erwin, Michelle, Tax, Raychel, Jose, Shanny, Zelly, Marle, and of course B-chan... you are longtime friends that have shown me what it means to be cared for. I only hope I'm returning the favor from time to time. :) I'll think up some more to write about what I've been up to when I get back from the game, or after martial arts class or whatever.
P.S. Kou-sama, I know you're busy... but could you drop me a line some time? I'd just like to see how you're doing. I admire your strength, and want you to know I'm always here for ya should you ever need someone to talk to.
