...but hopefully I'll begin to fix that bad habit of mine in these upcoming days.  Thanks to those of you who pestered me into doing it... I appreciate that you are still curious about what's been up with me.  It means a lot.  :)  Wow... so much has happened!  I guess I'll try starting from now and working backwards in general.  Okie... last night, I finally was able to play the new version of Dance Dance Revolution... DDRMAX2!  It so rocked... all these awesome new trance songs, lots of the best versions of older songs, and a ton of stuff to unlock.  Feel free to download the MP3 at the bottom of my post if you want to check out one of the newer songs we were dancing to.  :)

I'm proud to say that I survived this one crazy song called So Deep which is one of the most difficult songs to pass in any DDR game.  Just for the hell of it, my good friend Justin and I decided to try it as the last song in one of our sets.  By doubling the speed of the arrows so I could actually see how to do the steps, I was actually able to pass it!  Strangely, Justin (who's a lot better than me) didn't pass it though.  However, he did something few people have done as of yet... he passed a song called MAX300</b> which is just insane.  The first two times I played the song, both of us ran completely out of breath before even finishing the entire thing... which we never do on any other song.  The third time, we both managed to dance the entire time... and somehow, he stepped quickly enough to just barely pass it!  (I didn't get anywhere near passing it, personally.)  He's got to be in the top 10 in northern California since he can do that, I swear... :)

In other news, it looks like I'll be doing some Web sites freelance-style to rustle up a little cash, and ideally I'm also hoping to attend ReccaCon in early June.  The problem is, the con happens to fall right on my dad's birthday (June 9th!) and I'm not sure I'm going to go as a result.  Such crappy timing... ah well, I'll work it out.  What else... got my Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (wow, that's a lame title!) tickets almost a week ago, and am going at 7:15 P.M. tomorrow.  I'm also going to watch the Giants play ball in Pacbell Park in a couple hours.  Other than that, I'm just toying with ideas to do something with my life that I'll enjoy.  I've got a few plans in mind, but they're very long term as of yet... and I'm not sure when I'm going to have the resources available to me to put my plans into action.

In other news, I actually popped on ICQ for the first time in over a year, I believe.  I've also been trying to visit my friends on AOL Instant Messenger a bit more often, but it's tough for me to find the time to chat these days.  I'm not sure if you can continue to expect to see me chatting often, but I'll do what I can to say hi when I've the time.  Thanks to those of you who continue to keep in touch with me by e-mail and over the phone.  Many of you are constantly in my thoughts (like nearly every day)... and you surely know who you are by now.  Kathleen, Erwin, Michelle, Tax, Raychel, Jose, Shanny, Zelly, Marle, and of course B-chan... you are longtime friends that have shown me what it means to be cared for.  I only hope I'm returning the favor from time to time.  :)  I'll think up some more to write about what I've been up to when I get back from the game, or after martial arts class or whatever.

P.S. Kou-sama, I know you're busy... but could you drop me a line some time?  I'd just like to see how you're doing.  I admire your strength, and want you to know I'm always here for ya should you ever need someone to talk to.

Hehehe yeah, it'll be cool. It'll have to be around mid-June though, that's when I'll be back from Indonesia.

Re: You know what I always say at times like this...
Hey pimp, when are you leaving for Indonesia anyway?  Oh, and I was just joking about you being a pimp... I guess your swooning admirers are more like groupies than anything else.  *lol*  Okay, okay... seriously though, chicks dig you so much that they surround you most anywhere you go.  Well, at least the somewhat quiet and slightly silly ones.  You know... the ones who die for those bishounen guys.  ;)

I am NOT a bishounen, dammit. :P

Anyway, I'm leaving tomorrow night, actually. Gotta be at the airport by 11 at the latest, so my friend's gonna help me drive and bring my stuff there.

Re: You know what I always say at times like this...
If that's true, the primary reason you're not a bishy is because your hair isn't long like mine.  ;)  I'll try and give you a call before you leave, by the way.  Glad I caught you the day before you're heading out.  :)

Re: You know what I always say at times like this...
If I don't call you, please feel free to call me instead... I'll try and remember, but I often get distracted by this and that (read: women) when I'm out.  *grin*  I should start dragging you along with me more often... well, when you're not so busy doing 50 million assignments.  ;)

And he manages to leave Randee out... **sigh** oh well...

Anyway, I'll let that one slip by... but it'll cost him... btw, I'm gonna visit Shanny, Owen, and Zelly, IN PERSON, sometime around late August... and I was gonna ask you if ya wanted to come with me Chris, but... umm... never mind.

Now that you've got my cel number, you can call me anytime you want... just make sure it's after 9 pm pacific... later!!!

Re: -_-'
Now I feel really bad... Randee, please don't take it like that.  I listed the people who I'd known for like 3 or more years, and talk to most every week at least once in some form.  I'm sorry if you took offense, but all it truly means is that I simply need to get to know you better.  That's all I want anyhow.  Please forgive me if I hurt your feelings, though... :(

Re: -_-' == whoops
I was just being sarcastic, Chris... sorry if I made you feel like that... anyhow, I'm planning to go to San Fran this weekend (June 7-9) so maybe we can meet up finally? Let me know... call me, text message me, however you wanna do this... oh, and the avid dancer that I am... ya gotta show me that DDR place you always go to!!

Re: Waiii!
*huggles back*  As are you, Zelly-sama.  Thanks so much for embracing me as a friend and companion.  I truly value the chance I've had to get to know ya, hon.  :)
