Back by popular demand... :)

I guess I can only take so much of you guys all asking me to post.  *lol*  Sorry it's been so long... but working two jobs and spending all of my free time (during the day, when I should be sleeping after a midnight shift) with friends will do that.  My new boss changed my schedule, and now I have to work weekends.  I have two freakin' shifts on Sunday now... not cool.  Somehow, I'm able to adjust to whatever life throws at me... but that doesn't mean I have to like it.  Oh well, I guess nothing really puts a dent in my happy demeanor for long.  I'm making the most of it, and it's interesting having two non-weekend days off for the first time.  Not useful in any way, but pretty damn strange.

Before I forget to mention it... I heard that Paul Oakenfold (also known as God in many parts of Europe) will be spinning at the Metreon on Thursday the 19th, thanks to Live 105's strong presence there... at least this season.  I will be checking that out.  I hope to see a large quantity of you techno/trance lovers there for this.  If you need an example of how much of why they call him God in places like Ibiza, go buy any CD with his name on it.  Tranceport is one such amazing album I can vouch for... I own and adore it.  He's not a sell out (though he so easily could be paid exorbitantly to be one)... he only lets his name appear on the best of techno/trance compilations.  :)

In DDR news, I finally believe that I can consistently pass two Oni courses.  Both Naoki Standard (top score: 93.7%) and Naoki featuring Paula Terry (top score: 92.7%) have become second nature to me.  I've also managed to full combo Can't Stop Falling In Love (Speed Mix) at 1.5x speed on Heavy mode.  I even managed to score a AA on Era with the same options.  Other than that, I now regularly get a B on So Deep, at 2x speed with Dark, Boost, and Hidden set on Heavy mode.  I almost always score a C on Max 300 on Heavy mode as well.  I even managed to nearly full combo the entire Naoki Standard course... damn that one Good step!

Whoa, I'm actually considering doing that LJ-cut thingy... here goes!  Here are the lyrics to Rapture, per Jenni Lee's ProfileJenni Lee's request...

Iio - Rapture

The night I laid my eyes on you
Felt everything around me move
Got nervous when you looked my way
But you knew all the words to say

Then your love slowly moved right in
All this time, oh my love where you been

Mi amore don't you know

My love I want you so
Sugar you make my soul complete
Rapture tastes so sweet

Mesmerised in every way
You keep me in a state of daze
Your kisses make my skin feel weak
I'm always melting in your heat

Then I soar like a bird in the wind
Oh I glide as I'm flying through heaven

Mi amore don't you know
My love I want you so
Sugar, you make my soul complete
Rapture tastes so sweet

Mi amore don't you know
My love I want you so
Sugar, you make my soul complete
Rapture tastes so sweet

Since we connect behind closed doors
Spark this fire even more
No telling where we will be next
Surrender to your rapture aura
Lay your head, let slumber flow
Can't resist, that's why words will rule

Mi amore dont you know
My love I want you so
Sugar, you make my soul complete
Rapture tastes so sweet

Mi amore dont you know
My love I want you so
Sugar, you make my soul complete
Rapture tastes so sweet

My friends, thank you so much for sticking by me through these huge periods where I don't post.  So many of you honored me by contributing to the 156 comments on my last post.  As you know, it truly is impossible for me to read every single entry that you all make (186 people list me as a friend as of now)... but I think I'm reading most of 'em, I think.  I'm still trying to keep up, every single day.  It's ironic that I want to tell you all about the tons of stuff that goes on in my life, but I'm too busy most of the time to pop online and write a post about it.  It pisses me off!  Perhaps I'll change my life around and get one normal 9 to 5 job some time, but it could be a while... so I guess you'll have to expect this to go on for some time.  I'm actually surprised that I haven't somehow harmed myself, considering I average like 20 hours of sleep a week... with half of that happening during my first day off each week.

Strangely enough, I feel better than I ever have in my entire life.  Perhaps I can attribute that to constant exercise (DDR), drinking soy and rice milk instead of cow's milk, eating lots of Garden Burgers, and swallowing large quantities of vitamins... especially vitamin C if I feel there's a danger of me getting sick.  I think this might run in the family, too... my dad used to do this to a lesser degree.  Then again, he starts every morning with a four-shot espresso drink... which he then literally dumps a mound of sugar into.

It's really quite gross to behold, especially when he drinks the whole thing within two minutes of getting it handed to him... including the time it takes him to add sugar to it.  He's a freak.  I barely even touch caffeine these days, which makes this even more odd... I just have a large Soy Chai if I absolutely want to be sure I stay alert for a shift at work, or if I get a craving for one... but regardless, it's never more than one every couple days.  Despite all this, it still kind'a scares me that I can feel just fine without caffeine after not sleeping for 54 hours straight.

Okay, enough random babbling from me... I have work to do.  *lol*  Seriously, though... I have to go remove some stuff from a rack at my office and bolt it down in another rack.  I'd better hurry up and post this before my co-worker erases the entire thing right before I post it... bah!!!  *hugs everyone*  Oh, and to the wonderful people I host Web sites for... ChronoTrigger.com and its subdomains may have gone down for some time.  I worked on fixing the problem yesterday, and determined that Register.com (the company I registered ChronoTrigger.com with) screwed up and loaded an old version of my nameserver list, which then propagated across the 'net.  I simply made the nameserver list current again... but as it may take up to 72 hours before the site is visible to the entire world again, I'd like to hear from you if you're having problems with the site.

Finally... I'll be seeing The Two Towers on Wednesday with my two best friends, and also most likely anyone else who would like to join the party.  We're seeing it at the huge theater in Corte Madera.  I already have a pre-purchased ticket waiting for me, and I didn't even have to buy it or pay for it... :)
